Draft Scenario 2.0 - New York Jets

First 4 rounds of the New York Jets could be something like this:

With the 18th pick the N.Y. Jets could select either:
CB Justin Gilbert or CB Darqueze Dennard if either one is there...

If by chance neither of those two are there then:

Trade the 18th pick to the Bengals at 24th and acquire the 88th(3rd) & 123rd(4th)...

In the 2nd Round the Jets must then take a WR, so trading up is the most likely scenario...

With the 49th pick, & 4th Rd(115) & 5th Rd(154) to move up to the Cleveland Browns 35th pick:

With the 35th pick the Jets could select:
WR Allen Robinson or WR Davante Adams...

Now in the 3rd Round the Jets will have 2 picks so they can bolster other needed areas...

With the 80th pick could trade back into the back end of the 2nd Rd to select another WR:

New York Jets 80th(3rd) & Tampa's 104(4th) should give enough for us to move to at least to the Denver Bronco's 63rd (2nd), where we could land Jarvis Landry...

Now the Jets will have their compensatory 4th Rd pick along with Cincinnati's 3rd(88th) & 4th(123rd) picks:

With Cincy's 3rd the Jets can select TE C.J. Fiedorowicz to sew up another need while able to grab another TE Arthur Lynch with 123rd pick in the 4th Rd...

Jets Compensatory 137th in the 4th Rd: OT/OG Brandon Thomas from Clemson an investment pick, sign him place him on IR...

Total Breakdown:

Quote:
24th: CB: Justin Gilbert/Darqueze Dennard/Kyle Fuller/Bradley Roby
35th: WR: Allen Robinson/Davante Adams
63rd: WR/KR: Jarvis Landry
88th: TE: C.J. Fiedorowicz (after one year could be TE #1)
123rd: TE: Arthur Lynch (after one year could be TE #2)
137th: Brandon Thomas(IR)

**Note**: I believe we will enter with 4 tight ends into the season like last year and to have 2 inline blockers in both Fiedorowicz & Lynch will give stability for years at this position... Fiedorowicz will replace Cumberland as the #1 heading towards his sophomore season while we have another inline blocking end in Lynch... With Sudfeld as our #3/SE...
With 4 - 6 round selections & our origin 7th we can take our two original picks 6(195th) & 7(233) combine with 7(2015) and trade up into back end of the 5th Rd(172nd) to select Phillip Gaines or Aaron Lynch...

Leaving us with our 3 compensatory 6th round picks to possibly select:

FS Desmen Southward
OC Gabe Ikard or James Stone
DE Ron Powell (3-4 OLB)

As far any other needs on the defensive side, Rex has already shown the ability to bring in veterans to plug his system on one year rentals... This draft should be almost 100% offensive...
